CIDB services
Contractors, local or foreign, must register with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) before carrying out construction work in Malaysia. Registration sets your grade, from G1 to G7, which caps the value of the projects you can take on, and the categories and specialisations you can work in.
- New contractor registration, with the grade, categories and specialisations that fit your work.
- Adding scope: new categories or specialisations, with the proof CIDB asks for, such as completed projects, a competent person or technical staff.
- Upgrading your grade, once the company meets the new grade's paid-up capital, technical personnel and financial requirements.
- Renewal before the certificate expires, and updates when your shareholders, capital or technical personnel change.

How it works
Check what you need
We confirm which licences apply to your business and what each authority asks for.
Prepare the application
We prepare the forms and the company documents that go with them, such as resolutions and certified copies.
Submit and follow up
We submit the application and follow up with the authority until it is decided.
Keep it current
We track renewal dates so a licence or registration does not lapse.
Each authority sets its own fees and processing times, and we tell you both before we start.
